| Taking Time Respite Program
is a service available for families with children participating
in the Aspire Children's Services program. Time away for the
caregiver of a person with special needs is the goal of the
Taking Time Respite Program. Through this program parents choose
their own respite provider, thereby assuring consistency of
care and a comfort level for the family. Families pay a portion
toward the cost of the service. No family is denied respite
due to an inability to pay. Taking Time was awarded the 1999
Best New Support Program in Illinois by The Arc of Illinois. |
