10th Annual Big City Night
On Saturday, February 23, over 400 people enjoyed a wonderful evening of dining, dancing and bidding as the Hyatt Regency Chicago hosted Aspire’s 10th Annual Big City Night. With over 100 silent auction items, eight spectacular live auction items, pottery painted by our own beautiful children and a diamond necklace raffle there was something for everyone. Steve Cochran, of WGN Radio fame, once again wowed the crowd with his wit and personality, raising an additional $29,000 with an anonymous donor and matching funds from the attendees. The musical stylings of the Joe Lill Orchestra gave the evening just the added touch to make it perfect.
This evening will make a difference in the lives of over 500 children and their families who are served by Aspire Children’s Services. The event raised over $170,000! The proceeds will be used to update and replace therapy toys and provide funding that supports families through vision, orthopedic, hearing and nutrition clinics.
