The 23rd Annual Aspire Classic
The 23rd Annual Aspire Classic Golf Tournament took place on Monday, May 18th at Butterfield Country Club in Oak Brook. With the sun shining, a light breeze blowing and some pretty fast greens a glorious day on the links was enjoyed by 160 golfers. The day was full of birdies, long drives and smiles. The golf gods were certainly smiling when one golfer got his first hole in one! The evening began with appetizers, cocktails, and a wonderful musical performance by Paul McKinney and Trish Adelman. And lastly a fabulous dinner, live auction with Steve Cochran of WGN radio as auctioneer. All in all it was a perfect day to be a golfer.
Congratulations to Steve Cochran who received the John J. Angus Distinguished Service Award and Meltzer, Purtill and Stelle LLC who received the 2008 Corporate Sponsorship Award.

Proceeds from the 23rd Annual Aspire Classic will help support Aspire's employment and developmental training programs for adults with developmental disabilities.
With the temporary closing of Butterfield Country Club for remodeling, the 24th Annual Aspire Classic will be held at Cantigny Golf Course in Wheaton, Illinois. The date has been set for Monday, June 1, 2009; mark your calendar and watch your mail for the Save the Date.
