This year’s dinner, dance and auction set records in glitz, glamour, sponsorship and money raised for Aspire Children’s Services totaling more than $175,000! Guests walked the red carpet, "Joan Rivers," the perfect impersonator, interviewed gala goers and "Fabio"(look alike) mixed and mingled.
NBC5’s award winning anchor and reporter Lisa Parker accepted The Geraldine Post Breaker “Building Their Futures” Award, for leading the way in her support for Aspire.
Making the Hollywood theme complete, Aspire's live auction included a trip to Hollywood some people only dream about – two first class tickets on American Airlines, two nights at the Four Seasons, two nights at the Montage, a gift certificate to Mastros (famous for steak and celebrity sightings), and two tickets to The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
The real stars of the evening were the children who will benefit from the funds raised. Proceeds support Aspire Children’s Services.
