Bulls Shoot! Aspire Scores!

As the Chicago Bulls took on Orlando Magic, 17 Aspire participants cheered for a win from their home team. Thanks to Chicago Bulls Preseason Charity Tickets some of the Bulls' biggest fans and Aspire’s community home residents attended the action packed game.

“Basketball is much better in person than on television” says one resident at Aspire’s community homes. “My favorite player is number 12.” Chicago Bulls number 12 Kirk Hinrich contributed 18 points for the Bulls that night.

Game night was just half the fun for a few Aspire’s participants. The day before, two women and two men took a trip to the United Center for Bulls autograph signing and practice. All four participants wore their newly autographed Bull’s attire to the Bulls-Magic game.

“Tonight we’re all at the Bulls game, but this is just one of the many great things we do in the community,” said Jamie Crandell, Group Home Administrator at Aspire. “Whether these men and women are out shopping for a new pair of jeans or taking golf lessons, everyone is extremely active.”

To give back to the community and fans, the Bulls donate hundreds of tickets to each Bulls home preseason game. "The complimentary tickets are donated to local charities throughout the Chicagoland,” said Halleemah Nash, Community Relations Assistant for the Bulls. “We were thrilled to see adults with developmental disabilities from Aspire, who otherwise could not attend, come out and have a great time."

Thank you, again, to the Bulls for making this group outing possible.
