Aspire at the Shedd
More than 150 Aspire family members dove into Shedd Aquarium, Sunday, January 24, for Winter Family Fun!
Here’s a list of our five favorite things under the sea:
- Meeting Puiji’s calf and helping celebrate the new addition to Shedd’s beluga family.
- Splashing, playing, touching! We loved petting sea stars in the touch pools.
- One word — Fantasea. Aspire’s little faces lit up for Shedd's new aquatic show.
- Learning more about our sea friends. Do you know what animal “holds hands” to keep from drifting away?
- Staying on the lookout for sharks! Keep your eyes on the water.
During our sea explorations we ran into some of the families from Aspire.
“This was a special family experience and learning opportunity for the kids we won’t forget,” said one Aspire dad holding his wide eyed daughter.
"Thank you, Aspire. Our day was amazing!" said one Aspire mother as her little boy watched the sea turtle swim.
A special thanks goes out to the Shedd Aquarium for making Aspire’s special day a splash!
