NBC Chicago's Lisa Parker Hosts
Aspire and the Big City Night Committee are thrilled to welcome Lisa Parker as our master of ceremonies.
Lisa is an award winning investigative reporter and weekend anchor for NBC5 Chicago News. She initiated the Target 5 consumer investigative unit and her reports have since garnered12 Midwest Emmys, two Edward R. Murrow Regional RTNDA awards, twoGracie Allen awards, and several state and local broadcast awards.
As last year's recipient, Lisa will present The Geraldine Post Breaker “Building Their Future” Award to our 2012 awardee Tony Dreyfuss of Metropolis Coffee Company. The Geraldine Post Breaker “Building Their Future” Award recognizes individuals who have worked to help Aspire fulfill its mission of helping more than 1,000 individuals with developmental disabilities to aspire.
Lisa has “lead the way” in her support for Aspire’s programs. Her grace and poise are an invaluable contribution to our success and we cherish her participation. We are pleased to count her among the friends of Aspire.
