SUNDAY FUNDAY

Governor Quinn Attends Aspire's Benefit, Helping People with Developmental Disabilities

Frontier Bar, one of Chicago's hot spots, and Aspire partnered up for Sunday Funday, a day of fabulous drinks, food, football and more! The event was a huge success, raising more than $9,000! People in attendance included those who care about people with developmental disabilities, Governor Pat Quinn among them.

"Organizations like Aspire are making a difference by serving people with developmental disabilities," Governor Quinn said. "We stand with them as they push to make Illinois a better place to live, work and grow for all people."

The crowd went wild as Governor Quinn, a great supporter for people with developmental disabilities, joined the event and cheered on Aspire (and the Chicago Bears).

A few lucky raffle winners walked away with amazing prizes, including a $500 Gibsons gift card, Equinox gym membership and Bears tickets.

"Our Junior Board took this event to the next level!" said Kales."It was a great opportunity to meet and chat with Chicagoans who are passionate about empowering people to reach their full potential. I'm already looking forward to what next year's event will bring."

A great big thank you goes out to our Junior Board for making this event a huge success!
