Social Skills Groups

Creating Connections: Families, Friends and Beyond

This group creates a unique opportunity for parents and their children pre-school ages and older who are challenged by autism spectrum, sensory processing and related disorders.

Parents and children participate together in fun group activities to improve social interactions, conversational skills and the development of friendships. Each session is filled with activities and games designed to reach the goals of the children in the group.

Parents learn, too! Aspire teaches parents ways to development their child’s social skills at home, community settings and beyond.

These groups are designed for children who are ready for a group setting so they can develop and maintain interactions with their peers, improve conversational skills, and work on taking turns and cooperating with others.

Groups form year-round on Tuesdays or Wednesdays from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Fee: $300 for a 10-week session. For more information, contact Evon Mucek-Kucharczyk at 708.236.0979 x105.
